Welcome to esports! Welcome to esports, WTE in short, is the first ever educational website about competitive gaming. It's an esports 101, a look inside, a helping hand and a guide into our complex world that you are hopefully eager to enter.

welcometoesports.com aims to provide the most useful base knowledge on all the elements of esports. The video guides made by our industry veteran team will give you a running start in your esports adventure.

Currently we intend to provide information to 3 audiences:

1. The viewer: Did you get linked to a DotA livestream, or joined a friend at a BarCraft event? WTE will teach you to understand the games that you want to watch so you'll have more fun and be able to appreciate highly skilled players.
2. The player: If you want to get into esports you are probably already a hardcore gamer. WTE will provide you with tutorial videos that get you through the basics onto advanced gameplay mechanics for your game.
3. The developer: The support of a game developer is critical to their games' success in the competitive scene. Many great games have failed to stay alive for more than a year due to neccesities lacking. In the best interest of both developer and cometitive gamer, we intend to explain what features your game needs to be viable as an esport.

We hope you'll be as excited about the concept of this site as we are. There's a lot of work ahead of us but with your help we are confident that we will get there. We are currently looking for graphic designers, video editors, and many many esports experts for every popular game who want to collaborate on writing concise esports knowledge.
